Dear customers and friends,

We thought we would put together a blog post so that we can share with you some of the ways in which our business has changed over the past few months. The arrival of Covid-19 has had a major impact on the way in which we must live our lives for the foreseeable future. At present, we have been able to work with a small team working to ensure that orders could be completed where possible.

Initially, as many of our suppliers also closed alongside us, some orders had to be placed on hold. However, as some measures have eased slightly and businesses have begun to find new ways of working, we can continue to work on many of those orders again.

We still have a lot of jewellery available in stock, and we have even managed to fulfil orders and enquiries in time for special dates despite the lock down restrictions. However, this isn’t always possible and we simply ask that we have as much prior notice as possible as many of the processes are taking longer than normal. 

Changes to our Gallery...

We have taken a look at ways in which we can keep our business running whilst ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

Following on from queries and feedback from our clients, we are working to build up the images of our jewellery being worn for our website. We hope this will enhance your shopping experiences online. Similarly, we will be tagging products on our social media pages so that you can click straight through from Instagram or Facebook and the item will be detailed there. We understand that many of you are using these different shopping channels now so we have focused our time over the past few months to enhance these outlets.

Alongside Diana’s own collections, we have continued to support the many talented contemporary jewellery designers that we stock in the gallery by adding these to our website under the newly designed ‘Guest Designers’ section. Each week we are adding new designers and collections so that these pieces can be purchased online.

Prior to the outbreak, we had put in lots of hard work in to our upcoming exhibition ‘Ring’. This is an annual exhibition where we invite ten talented designers to submit a small selection of their most exuberant rings for the exhibition. We will be featuring this exciting exhibition online and through our social media channels as well as in the gallery once we are back open. 

New shopping experiences...

We are currently running an appointment only service, beginning the 15th June. The layout of the shop has changed slightly to ensure we can maintain a safe distance between our colleagues and customers. Please email us or give us a call if you would like to enquire about making an appointment.

Some changes to the usual shopping experience will begin when you enter the shop. There will be hand sanitiser and face masks as you come in that we would kindly ask you to use. Alternatively, please feel free to bring your own mask if you would feel more comfortable. Temporarily a maximum of 2 people per appointment. This may change as we perfect the shopping experience but for now we feel this is the most sensible way to keep everybody safe.

Our talented shop team will be offering a phone or video appointments prior to your attendance so that we can ensure we make your appointment as fluid as possible. This is also an opportunity to have input from the other important people that you would like to include in the jewellery buying or designing process.

The new ‘HOPE’ Sibyl

Finally, we have had so many enquiries for bespoke HOPE Sibyls that we have decided to include this word in our permanent collection. Many of these are being bought for key workers and loved ones in these challenging times and we are proud to be a part of this. We are working to get these on the website to purchase within the next few weeks so watch this space.
