Oxidised silver floral earrings finished with yellow gold foil. Rachael is a contemporary jeweller with an MA in jewellery from UCA Farnham. Inspired by historical decorative styles, Rachael’s work reinterprets traditional ornamentation and weaves in personal narratives and symbols. The process is intuitive, involving hand marking and piercing. She layers decorative surfaces and employ techniques such as etching, roller printing, keum-boo, gold plating and oxidising. The end results are rich and opulent pieces, blending antique aesthetics with a modern touch.
Dimensions: 1.2cm wide and 4cm total drop length studs.
Material: Oxidised silver with 23.5ct yellow gold foil.
