Diana Porter is delighted to be a member of Own Art. Own art is a national initiative supported by Arts Council England to make it easy and affordable for anyone and everything to buy contemporary work by providing an interest free loan. 

Own Art can provide an interest free loan from £100 up to £2,500. The loan amount can be a part-payment towards an item that costs more than £2,500. Or you can buy several lower value items at a time with a combined value of up to £2,500 or more. 

There are no set up fees and if you wish to pay the loan off early you can do this at no extra cost. Therefore you will only ever pay the original ticket price of the jewellery. The best part is that you can take your jewellery home with you straight away! 

This payment option can be used instore or if you do not live locally then a staff member will go through the application process over the phone with you. 

It takes around 10minutes to set up and the following criteria applies:

Own Art is available to all permanent UK residents over the age of 18, subject to status.

This means that you must be able to meet one of the following criteria in order to apply for a loan:

• Working at least 16 hours a week(employed or self-employed)
• A retired person in receipt of a pension
• A person in receipt of disability allowance

If you do not meet one of these criteria but are married to or living with a partner who does, then you may still apply provided that your partner is happy for their income details to be included on your application form.

Please bring two proofs of identification with you – one for proof of signature, such as a debit or credit card, and the other for proof of address. This could be a bank statement, utility bill or driver’s licence.
